Frequently Asked Questions

Jingle Web Jam is a creative web development competition that mixes GDG on Campus TEDU’s Christmas spirit with technology. Teams build a fun, Christmas themed, interactive mini website in 5–8 hours using AI-assisted development.

Yes, that’s the whole point!

You can use developer focused AI tools like Google Antigravity, Cursor, Gemini, GPT, or Copilot. They can help with coding, design, planning, and debugging.

We only allow specific AI agents for assistance. Allowed technologies are: Google Antigravity, Cursor, Gemini, GPT, or Copilot. One-click automated website generators outside of these are not allowed.

The goal is to show how you can use AI as a powerful assistant while still demonstrating your own skills in design, problem solving, API integration, code structure, and deployment.

Yes. During the event, we will give optional challenge tasks. Completing them gives extra points and increases your chance of winning.

Each team must deliver:

  • Real time AI integration
  • Original design components
  • A working live deployment (Mentors will support you in deploying your site!)

Teams choose a Christmas themed prompt, develop their project, receive mentor support, and present their final product to the jury.

The event is open to beginners and aspiring developers. The atmosphere is friendly, educational, and fun.

You can participate solo or as a team of up to 4 people. You can come with your own team or apply solo and we will match you with others if you wish.

Note: Solo participants and teams will be evaluated in the same category.
